Terms of Service

By accessing or using the ANSOR platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

ANSOR is an AI-powered literary IP discovery and analysis platform designed for film and television producers, development executives, and literary agents. The Service enables users to discover, analyse, and track literary intellectual property (IP) as potential adaptation candidates.

The Service is provided by ADAPTAI SAS, a company incorporated under French law ("ANSOR", "we", "us"). Access is subject to the plan subscribed to by the user or their organisation.

To access the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at contact@ansor.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless you are an administrator managing seats on a team plan.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to infringe any third party's intellectual property rights

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or source code

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond what is permitted by your plan's API quota

• Use the Service to generate false, misleading, or defamatory content

• Share your account credentials with others outside of permitted team seats

• Use the Service in any way that could damage, overload, or impair our infrastructure

• Circumvent any technical measures we implement to restrict access

Access to paid plans is subject to payment of the applicable subscription fee. Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

We use a third-party payment processor; by subscribing, you agree to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. If you disagree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

We may offer a free trial or a permanently free tier ("Explorer plan") subject to the usage limits described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice. Abuse of free tiers (e.g. creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits) may result in account suspension.

Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Service, and not to disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law.

ANSOR will treat all scripts, manuscripts, and unpublished IP data you upload as confidential and will not share them with third parties without your authorisation.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANSOR disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ANSOR's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ANSOR in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall ANSOR be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Entire agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ANSOR regarding the Service.

Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Waiver — Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

Assignment — You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
